Hi, and welcome to my website! I'm Amber Lynn Velasco, the artist behind Amber Lynn Photography & Styling. I am a certified, professionally trained makeup artist and a photography enthusiast located in Bellingham, Washington, and serving all of Whatcom County and beyond!

 

I started doing freelance makeup artistry during my senior year of high school, and once I graduated, I travelled down to Southern California to train and be certified by the Couture Academy of Modern Makeup Artistry, also known as CAMMUA. It was an amazing experience, and my skills and passion for makeup artistry grew even more. 

 

Makeup was my first artistic love, but I also dabbled in photography over the years, and my love for it grew more and more as I worked with and around other photographers behind the scenes on shoots! Unlike nature, architecture, or landscape photographers, people are my favorite thing to photograph! I love portrait photography so much and making people feel confident and beautiful.  If you are interested in booking me to do a photography session or makeup artistry for an event, photoshoot, or anything at all, I would absolutely love to hear from you!
